Whose Eyes Are We Looking Through?
This morning as I listened to a sermon given by one of the ministers at ORU, the question, "When we look in the mirror, how do we see ourselves", was asked. I sat and thought about it for a moment until I had finally come up with an answer. Sometimes I look in the mirror and see myself as the weak-minded defeated little girl who is easily deceived. Who tries so hard, but is unable to stand strong against the enemy. That's when I know that my walk with the Lord is on shaky ground and I need to draw closer to Him. I see the storm raging around me, but I know that He is there, keeping me under His shadow. I cry out to Him for help knowing that He hears me because His Word says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).
